Food Journal, January 14

Yesterday turned out to be another good day back on plan. It feels good to be back in control of what I'm eating! I think a big part of my going off plan over the holidays was a feeling of being deprived. I'm planning to combat that by having one meal every week or two that is intentionally OFF plan. I'm going to splurge on an order of nachos or have a burger or get alfredo pasta at a restaurant - just so I remember that I CAN have those things. I'm hoping that will stave off the feelings of resentment and frustration I was feeling before.
